Engineering, off your deskDirection, delivery, and the running of it
The technical half of a founding team
Whisia Technology
Your technical co-founder, minus the equity.
You run the company; we run engineering — choosing the architecture, building on it, and keeping the result alive once it is live. All of it happens inside the tools and accounts you already have, so nothing gets handed over and nobody learns a new process. See how the first weeks go
youkeep every share of it.
Five thingswe takeoff you.
-
CTO as a Service
You bring: The goal, the constraints, and whatever already exists.
We deliver: Someone accountable for the architecture, the standards your code is held to, and a senior read on anything headed for production.
Ongoing
-
MVP Launch
You bring: The idea, and the one thing it has to prove.
We deliver: The narrowest thing that settles the question, built and put in front of real users. We would rather ship in weeks than specify for months.
One sprint
-
AI Agents & Automation
You bring: The workflow that eats your week.
We deliver: Agents shaped around the way you already work — the reading, the chasing, the copying between systems, the tickets nobody wants.
Per workflow
-
Managed Developers
You bring: Your developers and your backlog.
We deliver: Decisions on structure, a review bar that holds, and a release rhythm — so a year of your team's output adds up to one coherent system.
Ongoing
-
Cloud Cost Reduction
You bring: Read-only access to your cloud accounts.
We deliver: An audit, then the migration and the tuning. Our fee comes out of the difference, so a bill that refuses to fall costs you nothing.

Share ofwhat you save
Every plan: a scope in writing, one channel we both live in, check-ins on a fixed day, and your cap table and your IP left entirely alone. Retainers run month to month — stop at the end of any month, and keep the time you have already paid for.
Starting takesone call andtwo days.
From wherever you are now
A half-built product, a team that needs steering, or nothing but a document. We start from what exists rather than asking you to start again.
Book the call
Tell us what you are building and where it is stuck.
Read the plan
Two days later: what we would build, in what order, for how much.
Work starts
We work inside your existing setup, agree the priorities and start delivering.
The whole idea, in three lines
Senior enough to say no. Close enough to ship. No equity.
Questionswe hearevery week.
Do you work with non-startup businesses?
Yes. We work with both startups and established companies — founders, operators and software teams that need senior technical direction without adding a full-time executive. The model is the same whether you raised a round last month or have been trading for twenty years.
Who owns the code and the cloud accounts?
You do, from day one. Repositories, cloud accounts, domains and third-party services are created under your organisation with you as owner, and we work inside them. Nothing we build sits on infrastructure you cannot take over tomorrow.
Do you take any equity?
Never. Your cap table is none of our business, and everything we build belongs to you outright, from the first commit. We are paid in fees only.
When does hiring your own CTO make more sense?
When there is enough engineering to fill the job: a team to manage, a product with a roadmap of its own, decisions arriving faster than a part-time partner can take them. Below that line, an executive salary and a slice of the company buy a lot of idle capacity. We cover the same ground until you reach it — and we will tell you when you have, rather than wait for you to work it out.
What happens after the first call?
Two days later you have it in writing: what we would build, in what order, and what it costs. Say yes and we start the week after.
Can you work with the developers we already have?
That is a large part of what we do. We set the architecture, review the code and run the delivery process, and your developers keep building. We are happy to help you hire more, or to hand the whole thing over to an internal lead when you have one.
What if we need to stop or pause?
Tell us and we stop at the end of the current month. You keep every repository, account and document, and we write a handover of where things stand so whoever picks it up is not starting from scratch.
